A Round-backed Book

A round-backed book looks like a 'real' book. It has a round back and headbands. It has the groove near the spine. It is usually complete with a hard cover. Until recently, I had never made one. Now, I have. This is my first attempt and I believe I'll be making another one tomorrow, if I finish sewing the signatures for it.

This book has 20 signatures of five sheets each for 400 pages of nothingness. Yes, it's a blank journal. The next one will probably be the same as they are practice. Experiments in my ability to make books. And fun. Plus this one has really nice marbled end papers.
